The Generations of Isaac

¹⁹ Now these are ^(A)the generations of Isaac, Abraham’s son: Abraham ^[a]became the father of Isaac; ²⁰ and Isaac was forty years old when he took ^(B)Rebekah, the ^(C)daughter of Bethuel the ^[b]Aramean of Paddan-aram, the ^(D)sister of Laban the ^[c]Aramean, to be his wife. ²¹ And Isaac entreated Yahweh on behalf of his wife because she was barren; and ^(E)Yahweh ^[d]was moved by his entreaty. So Rebekah his wife ^(F)conceived.
